Ski Performance, Technology & Human Experience

Where elite skiing meets technology and human experience

Hi, I’m Manuel — former professional alpine skier, systems engineer, and co-founder of BeBetterSport — focused on one core idea: how technology can help skiers understand their performance and improve faster, with clarity and purpose.

Skiing has been a defining part of my life. I competed as a professional alpine skier and represented Argentina in the South American Cup (SAC), as well as in multiple international competitions across South America and Europe. I also participated for three consecutive years in International Ski Federation (FIS) training camps, supported by the national government and ENARD, where I experienced firsthand how elite performance is built through feedback, precision, and continuous refinement.

Those years shaped how I understand sport — where progress is never random, but the result of meaningful data, repetition, and the ability to interpret what truly matters.

After my competitive career, I studied Systems Engineering at the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN) in Buenos Aires. From the start, my professional path was rooted in startups and high-growth environments, always working at the intersection of technology, product, and sport.

I later worked at Viewmind in the United States, collaborating with professional basketball players in high-performance centers, applying cognitive data and analytics to improve decision-making, attention, and reaction under pressure. I’m also a co-founder of Snowmatch and CTO & co-founder of OnePercent, where I’ve consistently led product and technology development, translating complex systems into scalable, user-centered solutions.

Beyond engineering, my strong interest in art and design plays a key role in how I build products. I believe that performance technology must be intuitive, visually clear, and cognitively efficient. UX and UI are not decoration — they’re tools to reduce cognitive load and ensure skiers can extract maximum value from the data.

That philosophy is what led to the creation of BeBetterSport:
a place where high-performance skiers and advanced technology meet, turning data into clarity and continuous improvement.

Through this blog, I’ll be sharing insights on technology, performance, and product design in sports — always focused on one goal: helping skiers improve while enjoying the process.

Thanks for being part of the community.
See you on the slopes — and behind the interface.

Happy riding ⛷️
