Second video feedback
What We Detected & Where We Start
For our second video feedback at BeBetter Sport, we focused on breaking down the run into clear, actionable elements. The goal is simple: understand the context, identify what’s working, and define the first steps to improve on snow.
1. Piste Difficulty & Snow Conditions
The skier is riding a double black run with soft snow and small, spaced bumps.
This type of terrain demands:
- Strong decision-making
- Constant balance adjustments
- Clean speed control
It’s a great environment to evaluate real skiing skills, not just technique on easy terrain.
2. Speed Control & Safety
This was a very solid aspect of the run.
- No straight-line panic moves
- Speed is controlled throughout the descent
- The skier shows run dominance, not reacting late or defensively
From a safety and control perspective, this is exactly what we want to see on steep terrain.
3. Body Position
Not a bad position overall, but this is where most of the improvement potential is.
Main points detected:
- Hands are not stable or well-centered
- Balance could be more forward and consistent
- Upper body could help more with stability and flow
Improving body posture and hand position will immediately increase confidence and precision.
4. Turns
Considering the terrain and snow conditions, the turns are:
- Acceptable
- Well-shaped for the slope
- Not rushed
There’s no major technical issue here, but cleaner body alignment will naturally lead to stronger, more efficient turns.
General Feedback
✅ Good control
✅ Nice turn rhythm
✅ Confident line choice
🚀 Big opportunity to improve:
- Hand position
- Overall balance
- Upper body posture
These will be the first focus points to help this skier become more solid, efficient, and confident on steep terrain.
This is exactly how we use video feedback at BeBetter Sport:
understand the run, isolate priorities, and improve every run that follows.
See you on the next analysis 👊🎿
